Asian Tour cancels 2027 Qualifying School

The Asian Tour has announced the cancellation of its Qualifying School for the 2027 season. The decision follows the cessation of the International Series, which was impacted by the withdrawal of funding from LIV Golf’s Public Investment Fund.

The tour stated that the cancellation was necessary because the reduced schedule has limited playing opportunities for members, particularly graduates from the Qualifying School and the Asian Development Tour (ADT).

Moving forward, 2027 is designated as a rebuilding year focused on stabilizing the Asian Tour and ADT schedules. The tour also plans to introduce new events co-sanctioned by the DP World Tour and PGA TOUR as part of a new partnership. The Qualifying School is expected to resume for the 2028 season.
