Asics and Carnan announce GEL-Cumulus 16 collaboration

Brazilian boutique Carnan and Japanese performance running brand Asics have announced their latest collaboration, the GEL-Cumulus 16 ‘Path II’. This project follows the brands’ debut ‘Path’ collection from 2024.

The sneaker features a layered design using a mix of leather, hairy suede, and wide-gauge open mesh. The color palette is centered on a regal purple, with teal accents visible beneath the mesh and on the tongue branding. The design incorporates symbolic colors: purple represents the partnership, green signifies growth, and black denotes continuity and stability.

The release is scheduled for August 19, 2026, in Brazil via Carnan’s website, its flagship store, and select Asics locations. A wider global release is expected to follow on August 20, 2026.
