ASICS Gel-Cumulus 28 features updated foam and shock absorption technology

The ASICS Gel-Cumulus 28 features several technological updates designed to enhance performance and comfort. The shoe utilizes FF Blast Max foam, replacing the previous FF Blast+ version, and incorporates PureGEL Technology in the heel to assist with shock absorption and landing softness.

To manage weight, the outsole employs a rubberized EVA foam known as FLUIDRIDE, supplemented by a small patch of AHAR LO rubber on the heel for increased durability in high-wear areas. The design includes a breathable mesh upper, an improved upper wrap with new lace loops, and a gusseted tongue. The shoe weighs approximately 270g and is noted for providing a stable, grounded ride suitable for recovery days and long runs.
