ASICS unveils Rise & Shine collection and Sonicblast 2
ASICS has unveiled its Rise & Shine collection, a series of running shoes featuring color palettes inspired by the sunrise. The collection includes eight iconic models: Superblast 3, Megablast, Novablast 6, GEL-Nimbus 28, GEL-Cumulus 28, GEL-Kayano 33, and GT-2000 15.
The centerpiece of the launch is the Sonicblast 2, an updated super trainer designed for energetic and responsive running. The new model is approximately 14 grams lighter than its predecessor and features a redesigned forked Astroplate. This technology allows FF Turbo Squared cushioning to extend into a trampoline pod for increased propulsion. The shoe also utilizes a dual-foam midsole construction, combining FF Turbo Squared with FF Blast Max foam, and an engineered mesh upper for improved breathability.
