ASIFA-Hollywood announces new animation showcase for awards season

ASIFA-Showcase animation industry Annie Awards awards season Infinity Festival Hollywood

ASIFA-Hollywood has announced the inaugural ASIFA-Showcase, a new two-day event designed as a ‘For Your Consideration’ platform ahead of the 2026 awards season. The showcase will take place on November 14-15 at the Audrey Irmas Pavilion in Los Angeles as part of the Infinity Festival Hollywood.

The event will feature screenings, panels, and presentations covering both major studio productions and independent animation. Participating companies include Apple TV, Crunchyroll, Disney/Pixar, Disney Television, IFC, Laika, Marvel Animation, Netflix Animation, Paramount+, Sony Pictures Animation, Tierney Corp, Universal Pictures/DreamWorks Animation, and Warner Bros. Animation. Wacom is serving as a sponsor.

According to Executive Director Aubry Mintz, the event aims to provide a space for the animation community to see, discuss, and celebrate industry work. Additionally, the showcase will function as a fundraiser to support ASIFA-Hollywood’s initiative to establish a second Annie Awards ceremony.
