Asilla engages in Japan-Saudi Arabia ICT policy dialogues

Asilla, a Japanese AI startup, is expanding its presence in Saudi Arabia through high-level diplomatic and technological engagements. The company participated in the first Japan–Saudi Arabia Public–Private ICT Policy Dialogue held in Riyadh on September 1, 2026. This event, co-hosted by Japan's Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications and the Saudi Ministry of Communications and Information Technology, aimed to discuss how Japanese ICT can support Saudi Arabia's 'Vision 2030' digital transformation.

Additionally, Asilla took part in a panel discussion titled ‘Japan's Blueprint for Saudi Arabia's AI Future’ at the LEAP 2026 technology event. During these sessions, the company showcased its action recognition AI, ‘AI Security asilla,’ which is designed to detect abnormal behaviors such as violence or falls using existing surveillance cameras. Asilla highlighted how its technology, including Vision Language Models (VLM), could contribute to the safety and efficient management of smart cities and urban infrastructure in Saudi Arabia.
