Asim Munir vows to defeat foreign-sponsored proxies in Balochistan

Field Marshal Asim Munir, the Chief of Army Staff and Chief of Defence Forces of Pakistan, met with political leaders and notables from Balochistan to discuss the province's stability and economic future. Munir asserted that the destiny of Balochistan is inseparable from that of Pakistan, emphasizing that peace and a clear national narrative are essential to unlocking the region's economic potential and attracting investment.

During the interaction, Munir accused foreign-sponsored proxies, specifically naming ‘Fitna al Khawarij’ and ‘Fitna al Hindustan’, of attempting to destabilize Balochistan and create division between the state and its citizens. He stated that these efforts to obstruct development would be met with a resolute and decisive response from the state, supported by the collective resolve of the nation.

He also highlighted the importance of empowering the youth of Balochistan to drive sustainable development and called for efforts to counter hostile propaganda and false narratives regarding the province.
