Asklepios Stadtklinik Bad Wildungen conducts emergency response drill

The Asklepios Stadtklinik Bad Wildungen conducted a large-scale, unannounced emergency drill on September 18 to test hospital response protocols. The exercise involved collaboration between the clinic staff, the fire department, and the German Red Cross (DRK).

To ensure authenticity, the simulation included a staged fire in a fourth-floor patient room using dense fog to mimic smoke. Participants worked with actors featuring realistic injury makeup to simulate various medical emergencies. The drill focused on improving communication, coordination, and the effectiveness of the hospital's emergency response plan under dynamic conditions.
