Askrindo and Bank Kalsel partner to boost South Kalimantan infrastructure and MSMEs

PT Asuransi Kredit Indonesia (Askrindo) and PT Bank Pembangunan Daerah Kalimantan Selatan (Bank Kalsel) have signed two strategic cooperation agreements focused on Counter Bank Guarantees and People's Business Credit (KUR) guarantees.

The collaboration aims to accelerate regional infrastructure development and expand capital access for micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) in South Kalimantan. As part of the Counter Bank Guarantee facility, Askrindo provides coverage for products issued by Bank Kalsel with a potential value of up to Rp 1 trillion. This scheme is designed to support contractors and construction service providers in strategic infrastructure projects funded by the South Kalimantan provincial budget, reducing the need for large cash collateral.

Additionally, the partnership extends the KUR guarantee program to support MSMEs that are business-feasible but lack sufficient additional collateral, ensuring risk mitigation for Bank Kalsel when distributing working capital.
