ASL Bari offers fertility preservation grants

The ASL Bari has opened applications for financial contributions to support social freezing, the cryopreservation of oocytes for future maternity. The new biennial call for 2026-2027 was published in the Official Bulletin of the Puglia Region (BURP).

Eligible applicants must be women aged between 27 and 37 who have been continuous residents of Puglia for at least 12 months and currently reside in the province of Bari. Additionally, applicants must have an ISEE (Equivalent Economic Situation Indicator) of 30,000 euros or less. The contribution, which can be granted only once in a lifetime, provides up to 3,000 euros to assist with the costs of preserving fertility.

This measure is part of the Puglia Region's policies to protect the right to parenthood and combat demographic decline. For the 2026-2027 period, ASL Bari has been allocated a total of 194,645.63 euros, divided equally between the two years.
