Asl di Teramo to re-evaluate rehabilitation for glioblastoma patient

The Asl di Teramo has announced it will conduct a new multidisciplinary evaluation for a patient who underwent surgery for glioblastoma. Following an open letter sent by the patient, the health authority is prepared to reassess the most suitable rehabilitation path to ensure maximum safety and account for any clinical changes or progress.

The patient will be admitted to the Atri Community Hospital for this assessment. Maurizio Di Giosia, the Director General, stated that the health authority understands the patient’s determination to recover and confirmed that medical professionals, including Giuseppina Franzone, head of physical medicine and rehabilitation, will continue to monitor the situation closely.
