ASL Rieti workers initiate labor dispute procedures

Workers employed at the ASL Rieti administrative offices and CUP service desks have initiated a cooling-off and conciliation procedure through the Cobas del Lavoro Privato union. This move serves as a precursor to a potential general strike in the region.

The union is protesting several issues following a recent change in service providers to SDS srl and Crescere Con soc. coop. These grievances include delays in monthly salary payments, the failure to recognize travel allowances for staff working at different health facilities, and the non-application of specific national collective bargaining agreements. Additionally, workers have raised concerns regarding the management of work schedules and the unilateral modification of shift grids, particularly affecting part-time employees.
