ASL Roma 3 launches alcohol prevention mural in Ostia
ASL Roma 3 has launched a public health initiative titled ‘Mai in bottiglia. No alcol’ (Never in a bottle. No alcohol) to promote awareness regarding alcohol consumption and addiction prevention.
The project features the creation of a mural by the artist Moby Dick at the Porto Turistico di Roma in Ostia. The artwork, which will be visible from the seafront, depicts a siren attempting to escape a large bottle to return to the sea, symbolizing the journey toward liberation from problematic alcohol use. The imagery was designed to be gender-neutral to ensure inclusive reflection.
In addition to the artistic installation, the initiative includes the distribution of informative materials and flyers regarding prevention services and addiction support.
