Asl Roma 6 expands healthcare services in Italy
Asl Roma 6 has announced the expansion of its local healthcare network through two new specialized services in the Lazio region.
At the Nuovo Ospedale dei Castelli in Ariccia, a new ophthalmology emergency department (Pronto Soccorso Oculistico H6) is now active. Operating Monday through Friday from 8:00 to 14:00, the service is designed to provide rapid care for eye emergencies, including ocular trauma, foreign bodies, chemical or thermal burns, sudden vision loss, suspected retinal detachment, and severe infections.
Additionally, a new Pediatric Allergy Clinic will open at the Casa di Comunità di Villa Albani in Anzio starting October 27, 2026. This service will cater to children and adolescents aged 3 to 14, focusing on performing Prick Tests for inhalants to identify sensitivities to allergens such as pollen, dust mites, and mold. Access to the clinic requires a prescription from a general pediatrician.
