In these incidents, scammers attempt to convince users to call back specific numbers provided during the conversation. This tactic carries the risk of unauthorized charges and the rapid depletion of telephone credit. The health authority advises citizens not to call back unknown or suspicious numbers and to refrain from sharing personal data, banking information, or access codes through unverified contacts.

To verify medical booking communications, Asl Salerno emphasizes that the only official CUP number is 089 2875028, which is accessible via landline and mobile. The CUP call center operates Monday through Friday, from 8:30 to 17:30. The agency urges the public to spread this warning, particularly to elderly and vulnerable populations.
