ASM and BVGH launch digital scientific writing course

ASM and BIO Ventures for Global Health (BVGH) are launching a new 10-session digital lecture series focused on scientific writing. The program is designed to support scientists globally, particularly those in low-resource settings who face limited opportunities for professional development in technical and general professional skills.

The series will cover essential topics such as selecting journals, the publication process, manuscript section strategies, figure and table development, authorship, ethical considerations, and the use of artificial intelligence. Each 90-minute session includes a Q&A period.

Speakers for the series include experts from diverse geographic and cultural backgrounds, including representatives from institutions in Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Brazil, and the United States. The first session is scheduled for September 3, and registration is free for all participants. Certificates of completion will be awarded.
