ASM Clermont comeback halted by Marcos Kremer red card

In a rugby match at Jean-Dauger, ASM Clermont Auvergne saw a significant comeback attempt halted by a red card issued to Marcos Kremer in the 54th minute. After trailing 27-3, Clermont had narrowed the gap to 27-24 following tries from Plummer, Hemery, and Bouraux.

Clermont scrum-half Baptiste Jauneau noted that while the team managed to fight back, a lack of discipline proved costly. He stated that playing with only thirteen men against a dangerous Bayonne side made it difficult to manage turnovers and open spaces. Coach Christophe Urios also expressed frustration regarding the impact of the dismissal.
