ASML becomes Europe's most valuable listed firm as shares jump 60%

ASML Holding NV, the Dutch supplier of semiconductor manufacturing equipment, saw its market value rise to about $674 billion, making it the most valuable listed company in European history. The surge, driven by strong demand for AI‑infrastructure equipment, lifted its share price roughly 60% since the start of the year.

Analysts upgraded price targets after the company addressed earlier concerns about scaling production for customers such as Samsung Electronics and TSMC. Institutional investors also expanded their stakes; Capital Wealth Planning LLC increased its holding by 60.5% in the fourth quarter to 16,154 shares worth approximately $18.8 million, while several other funds added sizable positions.

The market‑cap breakthrough eclipses the previous record set by Novo Nordisk and reinforces ASML’s pivotal role in the global semiconductor supply chain.
