ASML begins construction of new Eindhoven industrial campus

ASML has commenced construction of a new industrial campus at the Brainport Industries Campus (BIC) North in the Eindhoven region of the Netherlands. The multi-phase development project is expected to eventually span approximately 350,000 square meters and provide capacity for up to 20,000 additional workplaces.

To facilitate this expansion, ASML has entered into a long-term lease agreement with the municipality of Eindhoven. The company paid an initial 85.7 million euros to secure access to half of the required land, with a second payment of the same amount expected for the remaining portion. This arrangement allows ASML to use the land for long-term growth while the municipality retains ownership.

The first phase of the campus is slated for completion by 2028 or 2029, initially housing at least 3,000 employees. This new site will integrate production, logistics, and office activities, including a next-generation flow factory, to support the growing global demand in the semiconductor industry.
