ASML expansion and InSpace growth highlight Eindhoven tech sector
The Eindhoven-based AI software company InSpace has experienced rapid growth, expanding from six employees and no clients eighteen months ago to fifty employees serving customers in twenty countries. Led by Jelle Engels, the company operates out of the High Tech Campus and is planning future locations in Amsterdam and the United States.
Meanwhile, in Veldhoven, the political party PRO Eindhoven has expressed concerns regarding the expansion of chip manufacturer ASML. While ASML is developing a campus for 20,000 employees, local housing construction plans are facing delays due to a saturated power grid. PRO Eindhoven is calling for discussions with the city council to ensure balance between corporate expansion and residential development.
