ASML reports record €11.7 billion Q3 revenue amid surging AI demand
ASML Holding NV reported record third-quarter 2026 results, with total net sales reaching €11.7 billion and net income of €5.0 billion. The semiconductor equipment manufacturer achieved a gross margin of 57.5%, exceeding previous guidance.
Driven by significant investments in artificial intelligence, customers are increasing their short- and medium-term equipment demand forecasts. Management noted that some clients are already expressing interest in placing orders for 2029 and 2030. Due to this high visibility and increasing order book momentum, the company expects its planned supply for 2027 and 2028 will not fully meet customer demand.
For the full year 2026, ASML expects total net sales to be between €44 billion and €45 billion, with a gross margin of approximately 56%. The company is also scaling production of its High-NA EUV lithography systems, which are essential for manufacturing next-generation AI chips.
