Asmongold calls for Twitch investigation and criticizes ad blockers

Streamer Zack “Asmongold” has made several controversial statements regarding the streaming platform Twitch and digital ethics.

Addressing allegations that a creator known as Mike From PA called for violence against another streamer, Hutch, Asmongold suggested that the US government should investigate Twitch. He claimed the platform has a “terrorist-enabling staff” that is “protecting” certain individuals and promoting harmful behavior.

In a separate discussion, Asmongold addressed the use of ad blockers, labeling the practice as “undeniably an unethical behavior.” He argued that using ad blockers violates a social contract between content creators and consumers, stating that if everyone utilized such tools, many creators on platforms like YouTube would be unable to earn money.
