Asociación Hermanos Saíz celebrates 40 years of Cuban culture

The Asociación Hermanos Saíz (AHS) has announced a series of cultural events to celebrate its 40th anniversary. The celebrations, centered around October 18, will include over twenty events scheduled through the end of the month across 32 provincial locations, schools, and workplaces throughout Cuba.

Key highlights of the anniversary program include the release of the music video ‘Canción con todos’ and several documentary projects, such as ‘¿Por qué creamos?’. The organization is also producing a film titled ‘Hermanos’, directed by Roly Peña, which focuses on the lives of Luis and Sergio Saíz. Additionally, new television and radio projects, including ‘Proyecto en mano’ and a radio soap opera, will showcase the work of young Cuban creators.

In terms of professional development, the AHS is managing various scholarships in literature, music, and performing arts. This includes the international ‘Beca Timbalaye’ and a special scholarship for young DJs organized in partnership with the British Council, which offers professional equipment and live performance opportunities to winners.
