Asociación Judicial Bonaerense requests reopening of wage negotiations

The Asociación Judicial Bonaerense (AJB) has formally requested the Ministry of Labor of the Province of Buenos Aires to reopen wage negotiations. The union is seeking a new salary recomposition to recover purchasing power lost to persistent inflation and the rising cost of living.

This demand follows a previous agreement that provided a cumulative 7% increase, split into 5% in July and 2% in August. That agreement included a clause for salary review, which the AJB is now invoking. The union's request follows a similar formal claim made last week by the Asociación de Trabajadores del Estado (ATE).

AJB representatives stated that the goal is to secure an increase that keeps pace with inflation to mitigate the impact of rising fixed costs on workers' families.
