Asola holds ceremonies for the return of Blessed Mother Maria Ignazia Isacchi's remains

The Cathedral of Sant’Andrea in Asola hosted a solemn thanksgiving Mass and procession to mark the return of the remains of Blessed Mother Maria Ignazia Isacchi. The Mass was concelebrated by Monsignor Marco Busca, Bishop of Mantua, and Monsignor Francesco Beschi, Bishop of Bergamo.

Following the service, a procession escorted the urn containing the remains to the chapel of the Ursuline Sisters of the Sacred Heart of Jesus. During the homily, Monsignor Beschi described the life of Mother Ignazia as a consistent testimony to the teachings of the Gospel. Asola Mayor Moreno Romanelli also addressed the community, praising the Blessed's strength of spirit and issuing a condemnation of all forms of violence to local youth.

The event was attended by various civil and military authorities, including representatives from the Questura, Guardia di Finanza, and Carabinieri, alongside regional and national political figures such as Senator Paola Mancini and Deputy Carlo Maccari.
