ASP Cosenza guarantees continuity of care for fragile patients

The ASP of Cosenza has issued clarifications regarding Delibera n. 1074, issued on July 28, 2026, to reassure families and caregivers of fragile patients. The agency emphasized that there has been no suspension of care continuity. Services for vulnerable patients continue to be provided regularly by economic operators appointed through previous tenders, in compliance with Essential Levels of Care (LEA).

The reorganization is part of a programmed and progressive process to align assistance with current regional regulations, specifically Regional Law n. 24/2008 and DCA n. 81/2016. This framework governs the accreditation and contracting of operators tasked with providing services on behalf of the health service. The agency stated that this transition aims to balance regulatory compliance with the protection of patients already receiving care.
