ASP Data Center considers $100 million Oslo IPO

ASP Data Center AS, a Norwegian developer of artificial intelligence infrastructure, is considering an initial public offering (IPO) on the Oslo Børs. The potential listing could raise approximately $100 million (nearly NOK 1 billion) to fund capital-intensive investments.

The company is currently undergoing a strategic review. Its parent company, Asp Eiendom AS, has engaged DNB Carnegie to evaluate ownership options, which may include a potential sale of its controlling stake. While the company has not formally committed to a specific timeline, reports suggest the debut could occur as early as late 2026.

ASP Data Center currently operates sites in western Norway with over 43 megawatts of capacity and maintains a contracted revenue backlog approaching NOK 2 billion. The company is also pursuing international expansion, including a planned site in Finland with a phase-one capacity of 30 MW that could eventually exceed 400 MW. CEO Ole Fredrik Bergseth noted that the company is focused on meeting the rising demand for energy-efficient, high-performance computing in the Nordic region.
