Aspas Castellón celebrates 25 years of advocacy for hearing disability inclusion

The association Aspas Castellón celebrated its 25th anniversary with a commemorative event at the Casino Antiguo. The ceremony focused on recognizing the organization's history of advocating for the rights and inclusion of people with hearing disabilities.

Castelló Mayor Begoña Carrasco attended the event, where she expressed gratitude to the association and emphasized the importance of supporting families. Carrasco reaffirmed the City Council's commitment to eliminating physical and social barriers to ensure equal access to services, culture, education, sports, and employment, aiming for a city where no one is left behind.

The event included a presentation via videoconference by Dr. Oliver H. Haah, head of Otorhinolaryngology at Hospital Sant Joan de Déu in Barcelona, and personal testimonies from members of the association.
