Aspirity Partners to acquire majority stake in Onomondo

Aspirity Partners has signed a definitive agreement to acquire a majority stake in Onomondo, a Copenhagen-based IoT infrastructure and connectivity company. The transaction is part of a combined investment exceeding €100 million, which includes additional funding from EIFO, Denmark’s sovereign investment fund.

The investment is intended to support Onomondo’s international expansion, infrastructure deployment, and the development of its proprietary technology stack. Onomondo provides an end-to-end platform that includes connected devices, radio access networks, and cloud infrastructure, offering customers access to nearly 700 mobile networks worldwide.

Onomondo serves over 500 customers across more than 100 countries, including major entities such as Maersk, Carlsberg, and Husqvarna. Notable deployments include a private LTE network spanning more than 450 Maersk vessels. The deal is subject to regulatory approval and is expected to close within the first three months of 2027.
