Aspropyrgos Business Park licensing procedures accelerated

Greek Development Minister Takis Theodorakakos has committed to accelerating the licensing process for the Aspropyrgos Business Park. Following a meeting with the Industrial Park of Aspropyrgos/Southern Sector (VIPANOT), a Joint Ministerial Decision (KYA) is expected to be issued in the coming days.

The new decision aims to resolve legal and spatial planning issues that previously led to the cancellation of the original design by the Council of State. This institutional approval will incorporate judicial requirements and modern environmental standards to ensure legal stability for the project.

The initiative involves organizing and upgrading an area of over 2,000 stremmata (approximately 500 acres) in the Southern Sector of Aspropyrgos, Southeast Attica. With a budget of approximately 25 million euros, the project seeks to transform an informal, densely built industrial concentration into a modern, organized business park designed to host industrial, manufacturing, and logistics activities. The goal is to attract new investments, strengthen the local economy, and create well-paid jobs in a sustainable environment.
