Aspropyrgos shooting leaves two injured during celebration

A violent shooting occurred on the night of August 15 and the early morning of August 16 in the Neoktista area of Aspropyrgos, Greece. The incident took place during a celebration in the Tzaverdella neighborhood.

According to reports from the Hellenic Police, two men opened fire with a carbine, resulting in two injuries. The victims, a 25-year-old man and a 14-year-old boy, were transported to the Nikaia General Hospital, where they are reported to be in stable condition.

Police have launched an investigation and are conducting searches to locate and arrest the perpetrators. Authorities have increased patrols in the area to prevent potential retaliatory violence.
