ASRock unveils new Taichi and PhantomGaming QD-OLED monitors

ASRock has unveiled a new lineup of high-performance gaming monitors, highlighted by the flagship Taichi series and the PhantomGaming brand. The new models are scheduled for release on October 30.

The Taichi series includes the TCO27USA, a 27-inch 4K/UHD QD-OLED model with a 240Hz refresh rate, and the TCO27QXA, a 27-inch QHD QD-OLED model featuring a 500Hz refresh rate. Both models offer a 0.03ms (GTG) response time and include features such as AMD FreeSync Premium Pro, KVM functionality, and USB Type-C with up to 65W Power Delivery.

The PhantomGaming brand will offer the PGO27QSA in black and the PGO27QSA-W in white. These 27-inch QHD QD-OLED monitors feature a 240Hz refresh rate and support AMD FreeSync Premium.

During a product briefing, ASRock representatives noted the technical differences between panel types: Samsung’s Penta Tandem QD-OLED is optimized for HDR and dark-room visibility, while LG’s Tandem WOLED provides higher brightness suitable for well-lit environments.
