Assaí and ASICS announce new running events and promotions

Assaí Atacadista has opened registrations for the Teresina stage of its 2026 street running circuit, scheduled for November 22. The event in Piauí will feature 5 km and 10 km courses, catering to both runners and walkers. The initiative aims to promote health and strengthen community ties, following a 2025 season that saw over 7,500 participants across three national stages.

Separately, ASICS has launched the ‘OneASICS™ takes you to the Tokyo Marathon’ promotion. The campaign offers two Brazilian runners—one male and one female—the opportunity to compete in the 2027 Tokyo Marathon in Japan. The prize package includes race registration, airfare, accommodation, meal allowances, and official gear. To qualify, participants must be OneASICS™ members and prove they completed either a full marathon or two half-marathons during 2026.
