Assala Nasri to perform in Damascus after 15-year absence

Syrian singer Assala Nasri is set to return to Damascus for two concerts at Al-Fayhaa Sports Hall on September 17 and 19, marking her first performances in the capital in approximately 15 years. The events, organized under the slogan ‘Return of Authenticity,’ are supported by the Syrian Ministry of Culture and the Artists Syndicate.

Renowned actress Mona Wassef welcomed the news, expressing happiness regarding the artist’s return to her homeland. Mazen Al-Natur, head of the Artists Syndicate, noted that the concerts symbolize a revitalization of the country’s cultural and artistic life.

In addition to the musical performances, reports indicate that Assala intends to donate half of the concert profits to charitable organizations in Syria. Ticket sales are scheduled to begin electronically on September 5.
