Assam Agricultural University announces recruitment for 33 positions

Assam Agricultural University (AAU) in Jorhat has issued an official notification inviting applications for 33 vacant positions across its Krishi Vigyan Kendras (KVK). The vacancies include diverse roles such as Senior Scientist and Head (3), Subject Matter Specialist (14), Farm Manager (4), Program Assistant (Lab Technician and Computer), Assistant (4), Stenographer Grade-III, Driver, and Supporting Staff.

The online application process began on July 27, and the deadline for submission is August 26. Eligible candidates must possess relevant qualifications ranging from matriculation or ITI to Master's or Doctorate degrees, depending on the specific post.

Selection will be based on written examinations, interviews, skill tests, and document verification. Monthly salaries for the selected candidates will range from 18,000 to 1,31,400 rupees, following the 7th Pay Commission and ICAR rules. Age limits for applicants range from 38 to 47 years, calculated as of January 1, 2026, with relaxations provided for reserved categories.
