Assam government identifies 12 missing persons in Nepal flash floods

Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma announced that the state government has identified 12 individuals from Assam who remain untraced following flash floods in Nepal.

The missing persons hail from several districts, including Karbi Anglong, Golaghat, Hojai, Kamrup Metropolitan, and Nalbari. Authorities are currently working to establish contact with the individuals and facilitate their safe rescue. The state government is coordinating efforts to obtain information regarding the affected residents and ensure their safe return.
