Assam Ministers Assume Guardian Roles in Goalpara, Hojai, Nagaon

Jayanta Mallabaruah, newly appointed Guardian Minister of Goalpara district in Assam, intervened after a family reported a three‑year delay in pension and service dues for the late headmaster of Tiplai Higher Secondary School. He ordered the District Commissioner to examine the case within three days and expedite payment, noting that the state government prioritises prompt resolution of genuine public grievances.

Pijush Hazarika, Assam’s minister for agriculture, irrigation and parliamentary affairs, formally assumed guardianship of Hojai and Nagaon districts. He reviewed the implementation of schemes such as the Chief Minister’s Atmanirbhar Assam Abhiyan, Mukhyamantri Mahila Udyamita Abhiyan, and various health, agriculture and public‑works initiatives, urging officials to ensure benefits reach all deserving beneficiaries and to maintain high standards of cleanliness in hospitals.
