Assam Public Service Commission announces 50 Forest Ranger vacancies
The Assam Public Service Commission (APSC) has announced recruitment for 50 Forest Ranger positions within the Assam Forest Service. The selection process consists of four distinct stages: a written examination, a walking test, a medical examination, and an interview.
The written exam, which carries a total of 600 marks across four papers, is scheduled to take place between August 30 and September 13, 2026. Candidates who pass the written stage must undergo a physical walking test, requiring male candidates to walk 25 km and female candidates to walk 16 km within a four-hour limit. The final stage is an interview worth 75 marks.
