Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced receives Title Update 1.0.6

Ubisoft has released Title Update 1.0.6 for Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced, introducing several gameplay refinements and visual improvements. A notable unlisted detail in the update is the improved sail physics; the Jackdaw’s sails now rotate authentically on the mast and react to wind direction during turns, a feature present in the original game but missing from the initial release of the Resynced version.

The patch also includes bug fixes and restores previously removed features, such as the ability to hide the blowpipe on Edward’s back and the animation for the assassin’s hood during leap of faith sequences.

For players engaging in naval combat, effective strategies involve using mortars for long-range engagement, utilizing the swivel gun on enemy weak points, and employing the ‘Brace’ mechanic to mitigate incoming damage. Upgrading the Jackdaw with hull armor, broadside cannons, and fire barrels is recommended for handling high-star convoys and legendary ships.
