Asse volunteers organize benefit for Nepal and Tibet

Volunteers in Asse are organizing a benefit action for Nepal and Tibet during the Car-Free Sunday event on September 20. The initiative features an animation stand at KunstAs in the Weverstraat, offering various activities such as face painting, fishing, and games for visitors of all ages.

Proceeds from the event will support a local project dedicated to assisting those affected by the severe mudslides that occurred on August 27 in Nepal and Tibet. The organizers, who have previously held solidarity actions for Haiti, Syria, and Turkey, aim to foster community spirit and provide direct aid to those in need.
