Assembleia da República announces journalism training and job openings
The Assembleia da República is launching several initiatives focused on communication and parliamentary activity. A second edition of the Parliamentary Journalism Course will be held in Lisbon and Strasbourg during November and December. This training program, a partnership between the Assembleia da República and the European Parliament, is designed for 20 Portuguese journalists with at least two years of professional experience to deepen their understanding of national and European legislative processes.
Additionally, the Assembleia da República has opened applications for 11 communication-related positions within its parliamentary advisory category. These roles include content creation, multimedia design, social media management, and press advisory. Requirements for candidates vary by role, often necessitating advanced degrees in communication, journalism, or marketing, while some senior press advisory positions require at least 15 years of professional experience.
