Assemblies of God, Ghana leadership meets with President Mahama

President John Dramani Mahama has congratulated the newly elected Executive Presbytery of the Assemblies of God, Ghana. The leadership, headed by General Superintendent Reverend Stephen Wengam, paid a courtesy visit to the President to introduce the new officials following their election at the 32nd Biennial General Council Meeting.

The meeting took place at the Pentecost Convention Centre in Gomoa Fetteh from August 18 to 22, 2026. During the visit, the President commended Reverend Wengam for his leadership, noting the significant growth the church has experienced during his tenure. Reverend Wengam expressed appreciation for the President’s support and pledged the church’s continued prayer for the government and the first family.
