Assis Brasil establishes rules for minors at ExpoFronteira

The Judiciary of Acre has established specific regulations for minors and individuals under electronic monitoring during the 2nd ExpoFronteira event in Assis Brasil, scheduled for September 24 to 27.

According to ordinances signed by Judge Vivian Buonalumi Tacito Yugar Polotto, children under 12 are prohibited from remaining unaccompanied by parents or legal guardians in event areas, streets, and perimeters after 9:00 PM. For adolescents aged 12 to 18, this restriction begins at 11:00 PM. Staying past these hours is only permitted if accompanied by a legal guardian and if no risk situation is identified.

Risk situations include instances where guardians are intoxicated, the minor is lost, sleeping in vehicles, or in proximity to violence or substance use. In such cases, social assistance teams will refer the minor to the Assis Brasil Guardianship Council for protection measures under the Statute of the Child and Adolescent (ECA). Documentation of these occurrences will be sent to the Public Ministry for potential administrative review.
