Assisi reopens Ridotto cinema at Metastasio theater

The Ridotto of the Metastasio municipal theater in Assisi has reopened as a cinema following years of closure and significant redevelopment work. The space, located in the historic center, features over 70 seats and is part of a broader cultural regeneration project for the area along via Fortini.

The cinematic season, which runs through October, is managed by the cultural association ‘sedici:noni’ through a collaboration agreement with the Municipality of Assisi. The project aims to provide a stable space for culture and social gathering for citizens and families. The reopening was attended by local officials, including Assisi Mayor Valter Stoppini and the President of the Umbria Region, Stefania Proietti.
