Assiut Education Ministry conducts field inspections and celebrates teacher awards

Mohamed Ibrahim Desouky, the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Education in Assiut, Egypt, led a series of field inspections targeting 15 schools within the Assiut Educational Directorate. Utilizing a mobile monitoring unit known as the ‘Flying Bus,’ the inspections aimed to ensure school discipline, monitor student attendance, and oversee the implementation of remedial programs for struggling students.

During the visits, which included Al-Bura Preparatory School, officials reviewed student attendance records, weekly assessments, and classroom performance. Desouky emphasized the importance of adhering to school discipline regulations and encouraged students to utilize the Egyptian Knowledge Bank platform for educational resources.

In a separate development, the Assiut Directorate announced that four educational projects from the region secured top positions nationally in the ‘100 Capable and Creative Teachers’ competition. Organized by the Ministry of Education to celebrate World Teachers' Day, the winning projects focus on digital learning, innovation, and behavioral change programs to combat violence.
