Assiut Governor inspects regional health units

Major General Mohamed Alwan, the Governor of Assiut, conducted field inspections of the Awlad Ibrahim health unit and the Mutia family medicine center to ensure the regularity of medical services and the availability of medicines and supplies.

The Awlad Ibrahim health unit, established as part of the presidential ‘Decent Life’ initiative, has been operational since 2021. The three-story facility includes clinics for dental care, maternal and child health, sterilization, a pharmacy, vaccinations, and family planning services.

During the tour, the Governor reviewed patient turnout, diagnostic services, and the distribution of free medications. He emphasized that the state prioritizes improving public health and the quality of life for citizens through continuous coordination between relevant authorities.
