Associação Tocantinense de Municípios holds training for social assistance professionals

The Associação Tocantinense de Municípios (ATM) held a training session in Palmas titled ‘CMAS na prática: Governança e Controle Social no SUAS’. The event aimed to strengthen the operations of Municipal Social Assistance Councils (CMAS) by providing practical updates on their roles and responsibilities.

More than 150 participants attended, including council members, managers, social assistance technicians, and internal control professionals. The training, part of the ‘Gestão com Norte’ program, focused on legal security, deliberative capacities, and technical aspects of social assistance management. The session was facilitated by André Dória, a specialist in public management and social service.
