Association of Brazilian Cartoonists launches anti-feminicide art exhibition

The Association of Brazilian Cartoonists (ACB) is launching a traveling exhibition titled ‘Basta de Feminicídio’ (Enough Feminicide) to combat violence against women through art and education. The exhibition will debut at the Piracicaba Chamber of Deputies as part of the 53rd Piracicaba International Humor Salon.

To maximize social impact, the project includes a pedagogical component developed by psychopedagogue and author Paula Furtado. The initiative provides educators with technical guidance on using 78 cartoons as tools for classroom debate, aiming to foster critical reflection and respect for human rights among students in both public and private schools. The exhibition is designed to circulate nationally through various educational and cultural institutions.
