Association of Philologists of Argolis leadership to change

The President and Vice President of the Association of Philologists of Argolis (SFA), Nikolaos Boumparis and Aggeliki Deve, have announced they will not seek re-election in the upcoming association elections.

The elections are expected to take place in late October or early November, likely coinciding with the ELME Argolis elections. The announcement, made at the start of the new school year, provides approximately six weeks for potential candidates to prepare for the new Board of Directors.

In a letter to the board and members, Boumparis and Deve reflected on their involvement with the association since the 2010s. They noted that under their leadership, the SFA achieved significant national recognition through various collaborations and events, establishing Argolis as a center for dialogue and creativity. They emphasized that their decision marks the completion of their current cycle and expressed the need for successors to continue the organization's work.
