Associazione Italiana Arbitri launches 12th RefereeRUN

The Associazione Italiana Arbitri (AIA) has officially launched the 12th edition of the RefereeRUN, an Italian road running championship specifically for its members, including referees, assistants, and observers from all Italian sections.

The event combines athletic preparation with social solidarity through a renewed partnership with Sport Senza Frontiere. The initiative aims to support social inclusion projects and promote access to sports and health for children and youth facing socio-economic difficulties.

The championship season begins with the CorriGubbio on Sunday, September 13, 2026. To qualify for the final rankings and compete for absolute and category titles, participants must complete at least two 10-kilometer races. Categories include various age groups for men (Under 30, 30-44, 45-59, and Over 60) and a single category for women.
